Silver Stick Qualifier Win!
Mom's Restaurant Minor PeeWee A Team had to battle hard to win The Owen Sound Silver Stick Qualifier Tournament.
What a crazy weekend, the team started this tournament winning 4-0 vs the Host team (Owen Sound JR Attack), They then played a great game but could only put one goal past a very good Halton Hills Thunder Goalie. Saturday the team wasn't ready for a awesome Waterloo Wolves team and lost 3-1 then later played a very determind Woolwich Wildcats and Tied 3-3. On Sunday the team was well rested and very focused on the task at hand and beat The Brantford 99ers 4-0 and made it to a very well matched final with The Centre Wellington Fusion. The final game started with a Barrie goal on the first shift and carrying that lead through the first period then Centre Wellington scored 2 unanswered goals in the second and held that lead into the third where Barrie found the back of the net 3 times with a stellar performance by Buff scoring 3 and assist on 1 to take the Silver Stick Qualifier Championship.
