Silver Stick Champions!
Congratulations to the FurnaceDepot.ca Minor Peewee A Barrie Colts for their Championship win in the Sudbury Silver Stick qualifiying tournament!
The Colts went undefeated through the weekend posting four wins in the round robin over the Nickel City Jets 7-0, Orillia Terriers 3-2, Nickel City Canucks 8-0, and Copper Cliff 12-0. In the semi finals, the Colts defeated the Nickel City Jets by a score of 9-0 which set up a championship game against Orillia. The team played a solid game and took home the championship by a score of 4-2. The FurnaceDepot.ca Colts will now move on to play in the Silver Stick Finals in Newmarket in January.
