Submitted By Niki Grant on Wednesday, March 7, 2018
The Atom Navy HL Team (white Division) attended the Orillia Pro Launch Corp. Hockey Festival this past Family Day weekend.

Game 1 saw Barrie take on Orillia ANAF bright and early with an 8:00am start  and at the end it was Barrie on top to take the first game 7-0. Next up was the Lincoln blades and the result would be exactly the same,  Raymond Williams earned his second straight shutout, Barrie 7 Lincoln 0.  Barrie's 3rd game of the tournament would be against North Bay's Knights of Columbus Trappers and it would be Barrie's 3rd Victory of the Tournament.  This meant entry directly to the finals against a tough North London team.

Period 1 ended scoreless.  The score would remain deadlocked until half way through the second period when Liam Young tapped one home with helpers from Cam Weeks and Mike Ni.  That would be all the scoring in the second period.

The third period saw the score break wide open for the Young Colts.  Just a few min into the 3rd period it would be Noah Potocnik banging one home with helpers to Gavin Hillman and Gavin Avery.  Just over a minute later it was Brody Hawksby lighting the lamp from Shane Sutton and Tristan Schmidt.   With just over 6 min remaining in the game Brody Hawksby struck again with assists from John Decarli and Owen Musclewhite,  make the final 4-0! The Barrie team finished the weekend unbeaten scoring 26 times and allowing only 1 goal against"
