2020-2021 Season Update-End of Season Pro-rated Refunds
Submitted By Steve Fontaine on Wednesday, January 20, 2021
This season was like no other, as the pandemic swept across the world we found a way to commence a hockey season keeping in alignment with the recommendations of our Public Health Unit and our governing bodies. It was the hard work of our volunteers, with the grace and understanding of our BMHA families that allowed us to give our players an outlet if only for a short period of time.

Throughout this season the health and well-being of our players, coaches, officials, volunteers and the general public has been, and continues to be, BMHA’s top priority. The Coronavirus continues to spread rapidly throughout our community and therefore restrictions have been put in place that have disabled our ability to offer minor hockey at this time. After careful consideration of all options available to continue the season, unfortunately, we must announce that we have officially cancelled the remainder of the 2020-2021 season. BMHA will be giving pro-rated refunds to registered participants based on unused ice-times.

We will be commencing the refund process Wednesday, January 20 , 2021. BMHA staff will start refunding the U7 age group and will proceed up through the age groups in an orderly fashion. Due to the volume of refunds that we must process it could take some time for you to receive your refund. Please be patient, we have been told that it may take up to 14 days from the day of processing for the refund to appear on your account.

IMPORTANT: We can only process a refund to the card used to register your child. If you have received new cards (your card expired since payment to BMHA) or changed credit cards, you must notify us so that we can process a cheque. We will process all cheques at the end of the refund process.

Again, on behalf of the Staff and Executive we want to thank you all for your efforts and understanding this season, and hope that we will be able to get back to a normal season in September.
Stay safe, stay healthy.
