RCMP Virtual Career Presentation Wednesday March 24th
We at the Barrie Minor Hockey Association understand that times are tough, everyone wants to be able to get onto that ice and play hockey. During this time we are keeping busy with new ideas on how to develop our players not only into great hockey players but into amazing people.  The Royal Canadian Mounted Police have expressed their interest into recruiting athletes to transition them from sports to policing. We believe that many different skills hockey players possess are great attributes to a successful career in policing.

We are a team of approximately 18,500 police officers who, along with civilian employees, make up Canada's national police service. We are unique in that we provide policing services at the international, federal, provincial and municipal levels. We know that diversity in our workforce is a strength and we are committed to building a police service that reflects the communities we serve. Over 150 different opportunities to choose from, our police force has enough variety to ensure a career full of growth and adventure.

We encourage everyone, 16 years and older,  to take part in this virtual event to learn about what it takes to be a RCMP officer, the application process, and to ask any questions. This event will be held at 6pm on Wednesday March 24th.
