Submitted By jrobertson on Wednesday, January 13, 2016
Congratulations to Barrie’s Minor Atom Golden Colts for a great team effort that brought us all together as players, coaches and parents.

From there very first game against the St. Catherine Redwings they showed there team spirt with a 9 – 5 win and Continued that great team work through to win all  3 of there following games, which took them to the final. Our team shined so bright and became the champions winning the 18th annual Walter Gretzky House League Tournament hosted in Brantford, Ontario this past weekend in heroic fashion Earning a 7 – 6 OT win after being down 6 – 4 late in the third period the team overcame adversity and battled back to tie the game and an overtime period was rewarded. After a hard fought battle against the wasaga stars the golden colts became the champions with a hard earned goal. Congratulations to all who were involved!
