
Revised Regulations for House League Select Player Eligibility

At the Ontario Minor Hockey Annual General Meeting in June, the following motion was passed with respect to the House League Select player eligibility rules:
New - A Rostered Select Team is a team comprised of players selected from affiliated House League or Local League teams in a Centre. All players must be eligible by age and by residence for the Centre as per OMHA Residence Regulation 3.3.
Exception to "eligible by residence" for a non-resident player in a "AAA", "AA" or "A" Centre or Zone who has played House League or Local in the Centre or Zonefor a minimum, previous two (2) consecutive years is eligible to be rostered on a Roster Select Team in that Centre.
This means that a player from a centre outside of Barrie who has played house league for 2 years in a row with BMHA can try out for House League Select.This article has been viewed 2673 times.
