The Georgian Chevy Barrie Colts Minor Atom A team captured a
silver medal in Hespeler over the Christmas break.
The Colts started the tournament off with a 5-0 loss to Kitchener Rangers AA/A team.
The team rebounded with a 5-5 draw against the host Hespeler Shamrocks and a 4-1 win over the Halton Hills Thunder.
Barrie battled Halton Hills again in the semi-finals and came out on top 4-2.
That set-up a rematch with Kitchener in the final and despite a great effort from the boys…they fell short but still captured a silver medal.
The Colts are now focused on finishing strong in the three remaining games of their regular season and are preparing for the OMHA Playdowns.
