Whitby Novice Classic 2020
The Novice A Team played their first full ice games of the season this weekend at the Whitby Novice Classic Tournament.
The boys adjusted well to the full ice games, as they played with face-offs, off-sides, icing, and penalties; which was A BIG CHANGE from the new Hockey Canada Novice Half-Ice Program format they have played thus far in the season.
The boys played hard and worked well together, earning them a spot in the Quarter-Finals!!! The boys had a disappointing loss to the Sudbury Wolves, who went on to win the finals of the Tournament. The Coaching Staff, parents, families, friends, and fans of the boys were so proud of their efforts on the ice all weekend long.
The Novice A boys consistently showed good sportsmanship and the highest level of team camaraderie possible!
