Bantam AA Colts Capture Richmond Hill Early Bird Championship
The Bantam AA Colts traveled to Richmond Hill this past weekend to officially kick-off the season.
Stellar goaltending, solid team defense and balanced scoring through round robin play resulted in the Colts going 3 and 1, securing the fourth seed in the semis.
The Colts faced a very solid Clarington Toro Team Sunday morning but came out on top with a 1-0 shutout victory and it was off to the finals Sunday afternoon.
The Championship game was a round robin rematch with a tough Oakville Ranger squad. The Rangers came out on top in round robin play (1-0) however the Colts answered back in the Final game securing a 4-1 victory.
