The Original Mom's Restaurant Novice AA Barrie Colts win The 12th Annual Ottawa Senators Novice Holiday Classic Dec.18-20.
In a division of 16 teams, the tournament was tough from the start. After round robin play, the colt's came out on top of their pool, with three straight wins. This led to Sunday where they would have to win a quarter final, semi-final and final on the same day, to be crowned as champions. After fierce competition from the Napean Raiders and Richmond Hill Stars, the Colt's took both games. This led to the final showdown against the Whitby Wildcats. The exhausted Colt's showed true grit, heart and determination by never giving up, to beat the Wildcats 3-1. Thank-you to all the players and families who made this a truly special weekend!
