Congratulations to the Market Buffet BBQ & Smokehouse Minor Atom A Barrie Colts for winning their third tournament championship of the 2015-2016 season!
The team had a difficult first game of the tournament giving up a 3-goal lead in a 4-3 loss to Innisfil. The next two game saw the boy's tie New Hamburg 1-1 and defeat Applewood 6-0.
In the semi-final match up the Colts faced New Hamburg once again and fell behind 2-0. A three goal third period led to a 3-2 victory, a trip to the finals and a rematch with Innisfil.
In the championship game the Colts jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, defeating Innisfil by a score of 7-1 to capture their third tournament championship of the season.
