Peterborough Thanksgiving Finalists
The Larway Transportation Atom AE team competed in the Peterborough Thanksgiving Tournament this past weekend. The team went 4-0 in the round robin and reached the tournament Finals.
In the finals, they boys battled the Kitchener Rangers to a 1-1 tie after regulation time. After seven stingy shootout rounds and strong goaltending on both sides, the Rangers came out victorious on their 7th shooter.
The boys competed at a high level all weekend against very strong competition. The coaching staff and parents are very proud of how they represented their team, City and the Barrie Minor Hockey Association both on and off the ice.
