The Novice A Colts battled hard and ‘protected the
house’ over the weekend to capture two big wins.
On Saturday, the Colts travelled to Bradford and the Bulldogs came out strong to take a 1-0 lead after one period. But the boys rallied and were able to score two in the second and from there they shut down the Bulldogs offence, including a last second goal line stand, to secure a 2-1 victory.
Less than 24 hours later, the Colts headed to Sutton to take on the Georgina Blaze and they came out flying. The team scored three goals in the first period and played a strong defensive game to shut down Georgina’s offensive. Barrie went on to a 4-1 victory.
The Colts will now prepare for two home games, the Orillia Terriers on November 15th and the King Rebellion on November 20th.
