Colts drop YS Finals to Stouffville
The Colts were in Stouffville last night for a must win game 3 in the York Simcoe Midget AA finals.  After losing games 1 and 2, the Colts had their backs against the wall to keep their great playoff run alive.

The Colts dropped game 1 last Sunday in Stouffville 3-0 as the Colts short bench and the Clippers relentless attack proved too much.
In game 2, the Colts got some much needed help with players returning to the line up.  Although the Colts had a strong 3rd period, they could not battle back to tie the game and lost 4-3 on home ice.  Goals in game 2 went to Patrick Galloway, Grady Burke and Adam Lewis.

On Thursday night the Colts were in Stouffville for a must win game 3.  To no ones surprise, Stouffville once again came out flying and set the tone early.  Stouffville took an 1-0 lead early in the first.  The Colts thought they tied the game as Cameron Taylor banged in a loose puck but an early whistle had the goal called off.
As the Colts pushed to tie the game, Stouffville made good with a couple Colts mistakes and when the final whistle went, the Clippers won the YS Championship with a final score of 4-0.

A big congrats to the Colts 2018-2019 Midget AA team.  Your playoff success did not go unnoticed and you were the talk of the league.  Midget hockey is a challenge and your dedication in coming to the rink for games and practices when there are many competing influences was admirable.

Best of luck to our '02 players next year as you compete with and for many different teams.

To our '01 players, your minor hockey careers have come to and end.  Congrats on everything you have accomplished over the past 10-12 years.  One day you will look back and be amazed at the things you were able to do, the awards and trophies you won and the friendships you have made.  Best of luck as you move on and wished success in whatever it is that you set your mind to doing !!

Thanks to our staff, AC Tyler McKelvey, AC Paul Kellachan, Mrg Chris Wormsley and Trn Dave Brassor.  Without you time and commitment to the team, a lot of what we did would not have happened.  Most have no idea how much time and effort it takes to be involved in coaching a team, for those who do, we thank you for all you did this season !!

Go Colts Go !!!
