The Barrie Minor Atom A Colts advanced to the York-Simcoe final after beating the top-seeded Orillia Terriers in four games.
The Colts won the first game in Orillia 5-4 in overtime and
followed it up with a 3-2 win Barrie. The Terriers won game three but then the
Colts finished them off with a big 2-0 win on home ice.
Barrie will now face the East Gwillimbury Eagles in the
final. The two teams both finished with 37 points, with the Colts winning both
games in the regular season by the scores of 1-0 and 2-1.
The finals start on March 23rd.
