Signz N Designz Atom A Playstation Platinum Cup Weekend
The Signz N Designz Atom A team had the privilege of being selected to this years Playstation Platinum Cup tournament held at The Ford Performance Centre.
Our boys received an amazing swag bag prior to game one, including hats, t shirts, water bottles and their own copy of NHL 20 (PS4). Between games the boys met many of the Marlies and a number of the Leafs alumni.
Saturday morning the team and coaching staff got to go the Scotiabank Arena and tour the Raptors and Leafs lockerooms and also got to visit the Raptors practice court, followed by a Q and A session with Brendan Shanahan. A very memorable experience for the team.
Our boys made it to the quarter finals against the Erie North Shore Storm. Erie scored the first goal mid way through the second period. That's how things stayed until the final minute of the game, where we pulled our goalie to try and tie things up, however The Storm managed to score in the empty net to win 2-0. Erie went on to win the tournament. As always our boys worked hard, competed with Colts class and fought hard until the end. I say this a lot, but we are so proud of this team, the staff and parents. Go Colts Go!
