OMHA Championship Tournament
OMHAs 3rd Place Finish: This U11 A Team. Never seen a more incredible group of Kids, Parents, and Coaches. What a Season.

The U11 A Barrie Colts had an epic OMHA weekend to finish out a fantastic season of hockey.
Friday was a 2-2 tie vs. Quinte. Saturday afternoon they faced-off against Woolwich, the top ranked team in the Province going into the tournament. The Colts took a loss, but held them to a score of 3-0; which was important going into a potential tie breaker situation to move onto the Semis.

Saturday evening the Colts faced the 'win or be eliminated' game situation vs. Amherstburg. They won 5-2. The boys could not have played harder and the fans quite literally could not have cheered any louder or prouder for the entirety of the game!!!

Coach Luczyk said: "…when you have to Win by 3 to move on…and it’s just another day at the Office for these incredible Players. Timeout. Goalie pull. Goal. Penalty. Other team Goalie pull. This Group of Amazing Hockey Families - who navigated half ice hockey. Multiple Years of c#v!d shut downs. Season Pauses. So much Uncertainty. That dealt with so much. And These Incredible Kids pull this Epic Story off. It’s not just a good #Colts story. It’s an Amazing #HOCKEY story."
The semi final game was an early morning vs. King. The boys fought hard to a 4-2 loss. The other semi final game saw Woolwich defeat Whitby 5-0, which secured a 3rd place finish for our boys.

Woolwich defeated King 5-1 in the Final. Our Barrie Colts gave the Champions the closest scoring games they had all year.
