Rep Season plan 2023/2024
The BMHA would like to share our Rep team planning for the 2023/2024 season.

The BMHA has always taken great pride in icing the most competitive representative teams possible, while giving players the opportunity to compete at the highest level and remain competitive within their league. These decisions are made considering many factors including registration and ice allotments. We have added teams where the level of the players from AA-A-BB/MD meet the competitive level of the divisions and develop the skills of these players.

The following will be the Rep teams moving forward for the 2023/2024 season:

U9 (To Be Determined)

U10 AA, A, BB, Select

U11 AA, A, BB, Select

U12 AA, A, BB, Select

U13 AA, A White, A Blue, BB, Select

U14 AA, A White, A Blue, MD, Select

U15 AA, A White, A Blue, MD, Select

U16 AA, A, MD, Select

U18 AA, A, MD

As we move forward, the Executive will revisit these teams on a yearly basis to determine the programming that we will put forward on a year-to-year basis.

We have recently received guidance from the OHF in regard to the tryout process for the upcoming season, we are currently finalizing the tryout schedule but are able to share with you dates as we know them at this point. We are hopeful to release the full tryout schedule on March 27, 2023, along with the flow chart on where your player should attend.

We will be opening tryout Registration on Monday April 3, 2023 and it will remain open until Monday April 24, 2023 at 11.59pm.

At this time we can tell you that the House League evaluation skates will commence on April 29, 2023.

All Non Resident Players (NRP) wishing to tryout will attend the 1st AA tryout for their age group. The entire tryout process will be completed by May 14, 2023.

The spring tryouts will occur for the U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, U16 age groups. U18 tryouts will commence in the fall, those dates will be released at a later time.

Details pertaining to the U9 age group will be released at a later date.

I had questions and got my answers within minutes through their chat window and at one point I still didn't understand something and a representative actually called me and we were able to clarify within minutes.
