BMHA partners with Mariposa School of Skating
Submitted By Jill Robertson on Monday, May 1, 2017
BMHA is excited to announce that we have teamed up with Mariposa School of Skating to deliver a one of a kind introductory program, Fundamental Edge and Balance designed by Paul Matheson to the Minor Tyke age group for the upcoming 2017-18 season.

This program has been specifically designed to build a foundation of balance and edge awareness that is a key first step in the development of players at this particular age and level. Players will be introduced to concepts such as forward and backward inside and outside edges through exercises that are based around detailed repetition. Each team will receive five weeks of instruction with two professional skating instructors from the Mariposa School of Skating that specializes in working with athletes at this age and level. This program is included in the registration fee.  Also new this year, we will offer an introductory goalie program for interested players.  More details will follow.
