General Information

The OMHA has mandated that at least one parent or guardian of each player registered in the OMHA will be required to complete the online Respect in Sport (RIS) Parent Education Program as a condition of their child's participation for the 2017/2018 season. Please complete this course immediately, if you have not already. This is a separate course from Respect in Sport Activity Leader for rostered staff members.

If your player is selected for a BMHA Rep Team, you must register to the association for Rep Registration using the online registration through Hockey Canada. The link will be provided on our Home Page under Latest News. Rep Registration for players who have been selected for a Rep Team will only be open from May 7 to May 20/2017 depending on division. If you do not register your player during this time, your player cannot not be assigned/rostered to their Rep team and you could lose your position with the team. Rep Registration Fees will be paid online by credit card only, in the following format: 40% at the time of registration then 20% June 30, 20% July 30 and the remaining 20% Aug 30.

House League:
Early Bird House League registration will be online May 29/2017 to July 7/2017.  A payment toward your registration fee and payment plan must be made prior to July 7th in order to qualify for the early bird registration.  Regular registration fees will apply after July 7/2017. Registration to House League is a first come first serve basis, so register sooner than later before divisions fill. If you are a returning House League player, you will use your Hockey Canada password and email address to log in and complete the registration. Evaluation skates will take place in September. You are then drafted to your House League team for the season beginning at the end of Sept/early Oct.

The 2017 - 2018 House League division descriptions will be posted shortly.

House League Select:
House League Rostered Select will have tryouts in the fall.
If you reside outside the Barrie boundaries for rep but you have been a BMHA registered player for the previous 2 seasons, you are eligible to try out for the House League Select program.  This is an OMHA ruling.
