TNR Doors AA Minor PeeWee Barrie Colts Tournament Champs
The TNR Doors AA Minor PeeWee Barrie Colts team faced some tough competition in the preliminary round of the Brian Steele Memorial Tournament in Toronto last weekend.

Despite playing the teams that finished 1st, 3rd and tied for 4th in the 12 team field, they managed to advance to an exciting semi-final rematch with the Vaughan Rangers who they lost a tough 1-0 game to on Friday evening. Still knotted at zeros after regulation, three overtimes ended in a thrilling 2 on 2 goal to secure the win, 1-0. The team rode their high to a comfortable 4-0 championship game later Sunday afternoon vs the West Hill Golden Hawks. Strong team defense, allowing less than 15 shots per game in 5 of 6 games and rock solid goaltending that allowed only 8 goals over 6 games were the key to the team’s success. Congratulations to the players on their success and good luck as you begin the regular season!
