Bantam Navy – North London Tournament Champs
Congratulations to
the HL Bantam Stevenson Insurance Navy team who were tournament champions in
the North London Classic tournament on the November 17-20th weekend.
The team started off slowly but improved in every game. The team finished first in their pool in the round robin with two wins and a tie. The team played hard and won 4-0 with a dominating performance in the semi-finals to beat North London. It set up a final with a tough Oakridge team who was the only team to get a point against them. Barrie came out on top with a hard fought 1-0 win in the final to capture the championship. The team finished undefeated with a record of 4-0-1 and had 15 goals for and only 3 goals against in the tournament. The team had back to back shutouts in the semi-final and final games.
