2018 - 2019 Tyke (2011) Program Announcement
Submitted By Jill Robertson on Tuesday, March 13, 2018
Beginning in the 2018 – 2019 season, the 2011 birth year players (Tyke) will move to a modified ice program as per Hockey Canada, OHF and OMHA mandates.

Currently, BMHA follows the Player Development program and the Initiation Program model for the Myte, Minor Tyke and Tyke programs.  BMHA will continue with our format of 20 practices and 20 scrimmages per season and we are working closely with Mariposa School of Skating and South Simcoe Hockey School to offer skating and basic hockey skills through the IP program.

As per this mandate, there will be no Tyke MD (Junior Colts) or Rostered Select programs, however, we are working on several player development options, stay tuned.
