Get your player prepped for the 2018 / 19 season with South Simcoe Hockey’s summer hitting clinic.  This program is built for players to build confidence while learning and improving their body checking skills. Body checking is a defensive tactic designed to legally separate the puck carrier from the puck.

During our three week session, we’ll cover various techniques in a safe and controlled environment such as:

§  Positioning, angling, and timing when engaging an opponent

§  Proper offensive and defensive stick work

§  Keeping yourself alert by having your head on a swivel (in order to see the ice while protecting / moving / skating / receiving the puck)

Our 6 session program runs out of the IRC (Innisfil Recreation Complex) for $190.27 + HST ($215.00).
