Novice AA Team Spreads Christmas Cheer
The players and parents of the Novice AA team decided to run a food drive in support of the Barrie Food Bank.
Players and family member of the Novice AA team spent time spreading Christmas cheer and helping to feed hungry neighbours.
Teammates paired up and canvassed across Barrie asking for donations for the less fortunate in the community.
Their goal was to hit 300lbs in food raised and they ended up raising over 5400lbs in food for The Barrie Food Bank.
On behalf of the Novice AA team we would like to thank Zehrs, Sobeys and Loblaws for helping with such a great event. It was an experience of a lifetime for many of the players on the team as they selflessly gave back to the community.
Zehrs, Sobeys and Loblaws continue to support The Barrie Food Bank every day and the Novice AA team was humbled to be able to contribute along the way. We would like to thank the Barrie Food Bank for their tireless efforts during this time of year.
