Season Update 2020/2021
As we prepare to start our season and after much discussion, the Executive has decided that in order to deliver as safe a program as possible, we have updated our policy on parent’s access to all City of Barrie Arenas. This is temporary and will be revisited on a monthly basis.

Masks must be worn at all times when inside all facilities. Participants/parents will wear their mask until they are ready to enter the ice. All participants U7 Minor Tyke to U15 Bantam will arrive fully dressed, minus skates.

At City of Barrie facilities:
All participants entering the facility must verbally complete a waiver which will be provided by your coach.  Participants will be allowed into the facilities 15 mins before their ice time. If your participants are late, they may not be allowed in. Each team will exit the facility 15mins after their ice time to meet parents outside of the facility.

Washrooms are available in the lobby for emergencies only.

Games:
1. all teams are allowed to have 1 parent per team to attend and stream the games this applies to all divisions
2. an additional 2 parents per team will be allowed in to tie skates and attend the game. This will only apply from U7 M. Tyke to U13 Peewee.

Practices:  2 parents per team are allowed in to tie skates and attend the practice. This will only apply from U7 M. Tyke to U13 Peewee.

Viewing area must be accessed from the ice level stairs only.

At NTR:
All participants entering the facility must verbally complete a waiver which will be provided by your coach. Participants will be allowed into the facilities 15mins before their ice time. If your participants are late, they may not be allowed in.  Each team will exit the facility 15mins after their ice time to meet parents outside of the facility.

Games/Practices: 1 parent per participant is allowed in to tie skates and watch from the viewing area.

These decisions were not made lightly, but after discussions with the facility directors we felt that this will give us the best opportunity to deliver a safe and prolonged program. The Executive will revisit this mandate at the beginning of November.
