Important Covid 19 update
Submitted By Steve Fontaine on Monday, November 23, 2020
As you are aware the SMDHU moved us into the Orange level as of 12.01am on Nov 23, there has been much confusion as to how our programming would be affected by this, but after meeting with City officials the following guidelines will be implemented immediately.

Our programming will proceed in the same manner as which it has been up to this point. It is unfortunate but within the orange level we will not be allowing spectators into the facilities.
We will revert back to our previous protocols in which parents of players in the U13 divisions are allowed into the facility to tie their players skates but MUST leave the facility immediately afterwards. ( This will be at the coaches discretion ). Upon completion of the event the coaches will help the players remove their skates and lead them to the front of the facility. NO player is to be left unattended.  We will continue to allow 1 parent per team into the arena to stream the games, they must remain in the designated area while doing this.
These protocols will remain in place until such time that we are moved back to the Yellow category, we have worked very hard to maintain our programming and with your patience and understanding we can continue to allow these players to compete and more importantly stay healthy.
In light of the cases climbing in Simcoe County, we ask that if your child is feeling ill in any way, please keep them home.
