Season Update
Submitted By Steve Fontaine on Tuesday, June 1, 2021
We hope that this finds you and your family safe and healthy. We wanted to provide an update and share the information that we have at this time.

We are currently planning for what we hope to be a return to normal hockey. However, with so much uncertainty we will also have a contingency plan in place. We have had discussions with the city in relation to ice allotments and this could play a factor in our programming. As you may be aware, tryouts will not take place until early September. With the 2021-2022 season being delayed there is no registration open at this time. We are excited to announce that when registration does open a new platform will be in place.

BMHA uses Hockey Canada for our registration. Hockey Canada recently updated their system and they are in the process of rolling out their new Hockey Canada 3.0 platform. As a result of this upgrade, all HCR 3.0 users will be required to create a new login at the time of registration. Our members can prepare to set up their new login by planning which email address they would like to use. Please use an email address that is easy to remember and one that you can keep over the course of your child’s time participating in minor hockey.

BMHA is targeting opening registration in mid to late July. It is our hope that at that time we will have a better idea of what the season will look like and what programming we will be able to offer. Until then we will continue to provide weekly updates to keep our members informed of any new developments.

As the stay-at-home order comes to an end, all of our staff will be back in the office as of June 3, 2021. We will continue to plan for the upcoming season and part of that preparation will be looking for sponsors.  If you are able to sponsor a team or you know someone who may be interested, please reach out to Robin Hillman at [email protected]

Please stay tuned for weekly updates on our web page and Social Media sites
