Hockey Study is looking for help with online surveys
Submitted By Jill Robertson on Wednesday, January 14, 2015
We are conducting our second round of online surveys and we would really appreciate your participation in completing it once again.

The surveys are available for the month of January, closing February 7th at: https://www.research.net/s/HockeyStudy. By visiting the survey you will have the chance to enter in another draw for 1 of 20 Sport Chek gift cards valued at $50 or $100. (Our gift card winners from our last survey have been contacted and winners were drawn from across Canada, including Manitoba, Ontario, and Newfoundland.) As a brief reminder of the purpose of this study, we are asking anyone who is involved in minor hockey - athletes ages 14-19, parents (their children can be any age), coaches, referees, and administrators (including team managers, therapists, league and association staff, etc.) - to complete an online survey. The surveys ask about positive and negative experiences in minor hockey, stress and coping, burnout, and we also ask about the Respect in Sport Parent Program for those who have taken it. With our results we hope to look at people’s experiences in minor hockey over time and to learn more about how we can help to make minor hockey a positive experience for everyone involved. In our last online survey conducted in November we had a great response from adults but we had trouble getting the word out to athletes about the study. We would be grateful if you would also be able to pass on the survey link to athletes (via coaches or other parents); everyone who visits the survey can be entered in the gift card draw. The surveys for athletes are also available at our website https://www.research.net/s/HockeyStudy
