Tyke Silver participate in Innisfil Fun Festival
Submitted By jrobertson on Monday, February 1, 2016
This past weekend, Barrie Major Tyke “Silver Lightning" travelled to the Innisfil Fun Festival.

We won our first game with confidence and laid everything we had out on the ice for our second game but came up short with a loss to The Aurora Tigers. In our third game, the players were feeling the exhaustion but they all battled hard and came out on top with a win! This advanced us on to Sunday. In the semi final game, we played Brock Wild, a team that hadn’t had a goal scored on them all tournament. We scored 2 goals early on in the first period, but our strong efforts did not allow us to prevail. It was a tough loss but everyone played so well as a team. In the end it was a weekend full of fun, dancing, laughing and some great hockey! The coaching staff are super proud of how well the team played and how well they represented Barrie Minor hockey!
