
Minor Atom Select win Shamrock Tournament

weekend the BMHA Barrie Colts Minor Atom Select team traveled to West Hill to
participate in their annual spring Shamrock tournament.
The team opened the tournament with a 4-1 victory against a tough George Bell team. Game 2 had the team battle a Markham Waxer team continuing the winning streak with a 4-0 victory. Game 3 the team met the host West Hill team. Another dominant victory to give the team a bye to the finals. In the final, George Bell earned a second shot at the team. With the Colts ahead 2-1 with 6:30 left in the game a power failure caused a delay to the game. After an hour delay , the team brought it home dominating the remaining time in the contest. At the final buzzer of the season, the team had won 2-1 and left with the hardware. The team ended the tourney 4-0 with 24 goals for and allowing 2 goals against.
