Tournament Volunteers Wanted
Submitted By PHarris on Monday, November 28, 2016
Barrie Minor Hockey is looking for control room volunteers to work our next two tournaments this season:

  • Glen Bellerby/Moose Winooski's AA Tournament - January 6-8 2017
  • Pro Oil Change House League Tournament - March 31-April 2nd 2017
Volunteers will experience the behind the scenes operations of running a minor hockey tournament in our tournament control room at one of our local arenas. Volunteers will help with:
  • Getting teams signed in.
  • Tracking and updating  tournament scores.
  • Assisting teams on where they need to go.
This opportunity is great for anyone wishing to earn their high school volunteer hours, or who just want to give back to the community. All volunteers will receive free pizza and drinks for working the tournament.

Anyone wishing to volunteer can send an email to [email protected] Please include contact information such as name, phone number, and email address. Also, please specify which tournament you are interested in volunteering for as well as what days, times and locations work best for you.

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to send an email.
