My playing experience was at Junior, College and Senior A hockey. I started coaching in 1976.  This year will be the 30th team I have coached.  I have coached 12 teams at the AAA level, 6 teams at AA, and the other 12 teams were at a variety of other levels.  I have coached 5 years at the OMHA Under 17 Program of Excellence Regional Camps and have taken over 20 hockey courses. I have also been the Vice Chair of Hockey Operations for the Barrie Colts AAA Hockey Association.

The objectives of our team this year are as follows:

‚ To use the game to impart the qualities of working together, fair play and maximum effort, both individually and as a team.                           
‚ To teach these young players how to improve their skills by reaching beyond what they think they can do.
‚ To acquire mutual respect, self-respect and mental discipline.
‚ To improve the hockey skills of these young players by instructing technical skills, individual tactics, and team tactics, in order to enhance the overall team play.  

Our collective goal for these young players to have fun but it is our belief that they will have the most enjoyment when they know they've played their best. Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
