Novice A Goes to the OMHA Finals
Submitted By PHarris on Wednesday, March 8, 2017
The Western Mechanical Novice A Barrie Colts have been a force to recognize in Central Novice A OMHA Playdowns so far this season.

Round One featured the Colts versus Aurora. The series ended quickly with Barrie sweeping the series in 3 games. Next up was the Innisfil Winterhawks who finished in third place, right behind Barrie in the regular season. A hard-fought five game series finished with Barrie coming out on top after going 3-1-1.

In the Central Novice A semi-final series, Barrie faced the Orillia Terriers who finished first in the regular season. All games in this series were extremely close, but hard work and determination helped Barrie prevail and finish off the Terriers with a record of 3-0-1.

Having found their stride and everyone working their hardest, Barrie will now face the toughest match-up of the season in the Novice A Finals; the Centre Wellington Fusion. Barrie needs to keep up its scoring ways, stay solid between the pipes, and shut down the Fusion in their bid for the coveted RED CAP!

Please come out and support the Western Mechanical Novice A Barrie Colts. Games are listed below.
