Minor Peewee AE Wins Oshawa Cup!
It was a 6th round knockout for the Barrie Colts Minor Peewee AE team capturing gold at the Oshawa Cup this past weekend.
An opening 7-1 win against the North Durham Warriors, followed with a 6-1 win against Peterborough, 5-1 win against Belleville and a last minute buzzer beater victory against the Whitby Wildcats secured first place in our pool. The team rallied from behind twice in our semi-final game with Oshawa to post a 6-2 win and advance to the finals against Whitby. The boys came out on fire and never let up from the opening face-off playing ‘Colts hockey’ to the final buzzer securing the gold with a 4-1 win. Congratulations boys!
