Novice A Barrie Colts Finish 2nd at Silver Stick and Qualify for the International Silver Stick in Michigan
The Western Mechanical Novice A Barrie Colts competed in the International Silver Stick, Midland Regionals tournament this past weekend.

The team went undefeated in round robin play to secure the number one seed. The Colts defeated Clarington in the semi-finals to advance to the Championship game against Woolwich. After a hard fought game, the Colts unfortunately lost and collected a silver medal. Much fun was had over the weekend and even included some time spent between games learning to curl in Coldwater. Thanks to the team’s excellent play and acting like true professionals on and off the ice, the Novice A Barrie Colts have been invited to the International Silver Stick Finals in St. Clair Shores Michigan in January! The kids are super excited!  Their hard work really paid off!
