With victories over the Buffalo Stars (4-0), Macomb Mavericks (8-1), Pittsburgh Selects (9-2) and Connecticut Condors (3-0), the Colts improved their overall record this season to 12-2-0. The team saw excellent performances from all three lines, and they had steady goaltending all weekend. Overall team chemistry was the main objective and the Colts no doubt were successful in reaching this goal.
With their only loss coming at the hands of the AAA NorthStars Hockey Club from Massachusetts, the Colts played with great poise and composure. In their final game, they were able to erase a 3-goal deficit to tie the game in the third period. It was not meant to be, however, as the NorthStars were able to capitalize on a power-play goal to win the game.
Away from the ice, the team had lots of fun as manager Debbie Britton organized a huge catered feast on Saturday night at the team hotel. The Colts’ next tournament is on the weekend of November 3-5 at Bring Your AA Game in Pickering, Ontario.
The players and parents would like to thank the coaching staff and manager Debbie for their time and effort this weekend.
Let’s go, Colts!
