Minor Bantam A team meets the SWAT team
After a 3-1 victory against the Aurora Tigers, the Barrie
Colts Minor Bantam A team toured the York Regional Police SWAT team
headquarters. The players learned the similarities in the selection process of a
competitive hockey team and the specialty police unit, but most importantly the
value of team work.
The tour lasted approximately 1 hour and included the
deployment of tactical robotics and weapon displays.
