FurnaceDepot.ca Minor Peewee A Barrie Colts are OMHA Champions!
The Minor Peewee A Barrie Colts swept their way to Red Hats in the Finals defeating a very solid team in the Riverside Rangers. The Colts won in the final game of the series in Windsor by a score of 2-0. Max Brooks secured the shutout, while Connor Fleming scored the game winning goal with just over 8 minutes left in the third period. This is the first time Barrie has won the OMHA Championship at the Minor Peewee A level since the 1990-1991 season.

The entire team worked incredibly hard this season with the ultimate goal of bringing home the Red Hats. The dryland training sessions, early morning practices, on-ice and off-ice development sessions, and commitment to doing their best for each other resulted in the best possible finish for our season.
Congratulations to the team as they cap off a fantastic season which included an International Silver Stick Championship as well as the OMHA Championship. Congratulations as well to Head Coach Brad Hooper, who took home Rep Coach of the Year honours from BMHA earlier in March.
