The Barrie Colts U15A White team participated in the Regional Silver Stick this past weekend hosted by Georgina.
They came out strong in their pool play winning all four games.
This landed them in the Semifinal against Newmarket, where the Colts won 4-0.
Later, in the final game they faced the New Hamburg Huskies for a second time. While the Colts seemed to dominate the whole game and be ahead on the score board, the Huskies pulled their goalie with 1min 28 sec left and scored to tie up the game putting the game in overtime.
OT ended in a tie which brought us to 4 on 4. Almost 2 min into the second OT an unfortunate bounce landed the puck in the net where the Colts fell short on the win.
These boys played hard and should be proud of all their efforts this weekend bringing home the silver medal!!
