The teams will be comprised of 8-10 Baycats plus we are in the process of filling the roster with local celebrities & heroes. You will see CTV Barrie (Sarah Freemark, Dana Roberts, KC Colby), Mayor Alex Nuttall, the deputy chief of police, a ton of city councillors, MP's and MPP's, plus on-air celebrities from Rock 95, even a UFC fighter, world cup skier, a NASCAR driver, a World Arm-wrestling Champion and many more! It's guaranteed to be a fun, family event! And this year the game will be hosted and produced by the Barrie Baycats and will be televised LIVE on Rogers TV. We've really hit the big leagues now! ⚾

Last year we netted a mere $9,000 for Barrie Food Bank but this year our goal is $30,000, which is in line with our current demand!
· Every month, over 7,000 individuals are receiving food assistance from Barrie Food Bank, which is an increase of +70% over last year.
· Every month, over 500 first time users are turning to Barrie Food Bank for help making ends meet
· Every week, Barrie Food Bank gives out emergency bags to more than 30 individuals who are unhoused in our community
As strong as the community support for the food bank has always been, our supplies are dwindling and we've had to start reducing the quantities of food provided.
So here's where we're trying to hit a home run:
· please encourage your hockey families to bring non-perishable food items for the food bank, if possible
