International Silver Stick Champions!
The Acchione Bros. Minor Bantam AA Colts celebrate after winning the International Silver Stick Tournament in Newmarket, Ontario. The team battled hard all weekend and earned the right to the prestigious title with decisive victories over the #1 US ranked team (USA Eagles), the #3 US ranked team (Oakland Jr. Grizzlies) and the #4 US ranked team (Saginaw Spirit). In the final, the boys rallied twice from a one goal deficit to defeat the hometown Newmarket Redmen 3-2. This is the team's third tournament victory in the past 4 weeks and fourth for the year.
