Minor Atom, 2016-2017, BB (Barrie Minor Hockey)

What an amazing season ! The boys came so close, it was a hard fought series and the boys never gave up.  This year has been an incredible journey of growth, hard work, determination and perseverance. A year of playing for the logo on the front of the jersey and not the name on the back. It has been a year made of great friendships and memories. Thank you to an incredible coaching and bench staff and to all the parents for their continued support throughout the season.  We couldn't be prouder of all 17 of these amazing boys. The boys may have won silver but they are golden in our hearts. 

Unbelievable results from this years Coach4Food campaign!!!!  All of the boys should be extremely proud of the awesome job they did supporting the food bank and giving back to the community! Unfortunately we didn't win this year but I encourage all of the boys to continue this initiative in the years to come! And 11897 lbs - seriously??!!!!!!  We need to find out their secrets! Congrats to the novice AA team! Thanks so much to all the kids and all of the wonderful parents for participating and helping this year with Coach4Food! It warms my heart that everyone was so willing to get on board ...

November 25th weekend, marked our teams 3rd hockey tournament held in Barrie. During the tournament, the boys showed some resilience winning against a challenging team. Advancing to the semi's, although a tough loss, our boys demonstrated when we play "Colts" hockey, we can compete against any team and more importantly we have fun. Congratulations to our players for having fun, working hard and doing their best to advance.  Thank you to all the coaches, parents, friends, and family for their continued support. Go Colts Go!

Another exciting hockey tournament boys!!! Once again, battling and working hard to make it to the championship game. So nice to see our boys enjoying themselves both at the rink and hotel in the pool, hot tub, along with mini stick games in the hallways. A big shout out to the parents for their continued support. Such a great weekend, lots of laughs and fun. Great effort, Go Colts Go!!! Continue to be GREAT at what you're great at boys!

Awesome first tournament of the season. It was an exciting weekend of hockey !!! Watching our boys battling hard and never giving up, winning in OT of the semi-final game to advance themselves to the championship game.  Our boys played as a team, made sacrifices and as a group, all 17 of our boys showed they play for the crest on the front of their jerseys and not the name on the back.  Great job boys, and thanks to all our families and friends for their support over the weekend! Go Colts !!!
