The
Minor Atom AE team got into the holiday giving spirit in support of
Hockey Gives Blood by volunteering at the Barrie blood donor centre on December 8th.
Parents and coaches rolled up their sleeves to donate, while the boys volunteered at the refreshment table. The ultimate goal was to give life to patients in need, many of which live right here in Barrie. The team is proud to be the first minor hockey team in the region to support Hockey Gives Blood, joining more than 22 NHL, CHL, OHL teams across the country: hockeygivesblood.ca.
The coaching staff put a challenge out to other hockey teams to get involved!
