I would like to
follow up on the recent announcement from Murray Shanks indicating that he has
stepped down as president of the BMHA. We would like to thank Murray for the
countless hours and time spent with the association and we wish him and his
family all the best as they move forward with their next, new and exciting chapter.
With that said, I am humbled and privileged to have been voted in to carry out the rest of Murrays term as the President of the BMHA. Murray has been instrumental in the development of the BMHA over the last 16 years as president and being a strong part of the association for over 25 years.
There have been countless accomplishments made throughout the years. My Intentions, the goals of our board and the work effort from our front office remain simple; Keep the association fundamentally strong, keep the development of our youth moving forward and above all provide a safe, trusting, fun, exciting environment for all people involved in the game we all love. We also want to continue to position the BMHA on a successful path forward with a bright future for our members, volunteers, player's and our hockey community.
Our work is far from complete and I would like to assure every member that we will continue to work tirelessly to ensure we remain one of the strongest associations in central Ontario.
With Warm Regards;
Chris Inglis
President BMHA
