Colts represent well in Midget AA All Star game
Four members of the Barrie Colts Midget AA team were in Orillia Sunday afternoon for the York Simcoe Midget AA All Star game, held for second year Midget players.

The boys were part of the North All Stars playing with players from Richmond Hill, TNT and Stouffville.  The game started in typical All Star fashion with a number of goals fast and furious, as South jumped to a 3-0 lead.  Michael Brassor started in net for the North and once he got a bit of defence in front of him settled in a made a number of highlight saves to keep the game close.
North battled back as defenseman Cameron Taylor blasted one home from the blueline and forward Hayden Bruining scored a beauty to get the game close.
Forward Luke Stevens had a number of glorious chances but could not find the back of the net.
Despite a late shorthanded goal by the North, South took the game 6-5 in what actually turned into a bit of a hard hitting affair, odd for an All Star game.

Congrats on representing your team and BMHA !
