The Barrie Minor Atom A Colts and their families are trying
to make Christmas better for one family in our community.
The team sponsored a family through Simcoe Muskoka Family Connexions and was given a family that includes grandparents who have custody of their grandson and the grandmother is not able to work due to respiratory issues.
Each member/family on the team was responsible for buying certain gifts and then on Sunday, at the team Christmas party, the boys wrapped the gifts and signed a card for the family.
The presents will be dropped off later this week at Simcoe Muskoka Family Connexions – just in time for Christmas.
