Barrie Colts A (Barrie Minor Hockey)

The U12A White Team focused the last few weeks on raising funds and awareness towards Hockey Fights Cancer.  Along the way we learned about a BMHA goaltender who has been affected by cancer and we all offer him and his family our love and support.  We are blessed with so many generous donors helping us raise nearly $1300 in such a short time.  Thank You to all of you who supported our initiative the past few weeks.  The Hockey Community is Truly Amazing!

U11A Barrie Colts clinched yet another championship this past weekend in Barrie. Colts were in the Kutting Edge Klassic heading into Sunday with 2 wins and 1 loss. In the Semi-Finals, the boys beat the Flamborough Sabres to advance into the FINALS. With a tough start being down 0-3 to the Cumberland Grads, the U11A Colts came together in unity, with positive attitudes, amazing passing and shooting, these boys came back to win 7-5!!! The atmosphere was electric as the final whistle blew, signaling the end of an intense and hard-fought championship game. The Barrie Colts U13A White team, skating with heart and determination, clinched an intense overtime- down to 1 on 1, thrilling 4-3 victory to win the Kutting Edge Klassic this week-end.  The Colts hoisted the gleaming championship trophy, a testament to their grit, teamwork, and perseverance. It was a moment to savor!  Congratulations Colts!

U11A Colts showed up yet again to clinch a Championship in Halton this past weekend at Best of the Best! Colts were 3-1 heading into the final game, coming out victorious and outplaying the 1st seeded team, Copper Cliff Reds 5-0! These boys played as a team, bonded like a team over the weekend and absolutely celebrated like a TEAM! Congratulations Colts!! Next ... The Colts head to Collingwood to compete in the Regional Silver Stick November 15-17! Stay tuned for results!  Go Colts Go!
