Barrie Colts BB (Barrie Minor Hockey)

What an incredible day of friendship, hockey and community support all for a young man, Josh and his family dealing with his cancer. The Barrie U16 community rallied for Josh after a dedicated group of hockey moms, jumped into action to organize this wonderful fundraiser. So proud of all who donated their time and services, and those who participated! This past weekend the U16BB Barrie Colts traveled to Montreal for the CANAM challenge Cup.  Undefeated in the round robin, these boys earned a place in the GOLD Medal game.  The Gold Medal game was back and forth for the first two periods with the score tied up by York Mills early into the third. The pressure was on for these boys and they delivered with just under 6 minutes left in the third period pulling ahead 3-2.
